Baggage Rules of the Haramain Train
A lot of people ask if the Haramain Train baggage rules are enforced. In my experience, it was definiently enforced and I ended up having to check one of my bags due to it being oversized. If you have to check your luggage, it may not reach the station until later that evening or the next day.
Train passengers are allowed to bring:
- One piece of luggage (up to 25kg/ 55 pounds) per traveler in Economy Class. I had to check my XL suitcase but a carry on size luggage would be fine.

Additionally, a small carry-on item, such as a backpack or handbag, is permitted. Large or excess baggage may incur extra fees or need to be checked in at the station and yes, they actually check.
