Pitso’s Kitchen Waterfront

Pitso’s Kitchen Waterfront was my first time having authentic, Black South African food. Surprisingly, you have to do a little research to find Black South African food in Cape Town, as it is a predominantly Coloured and Afrikaans city.
You can find local dishes such as samp and beans, chakalaka, and even a few vegetarian side dishes. It’s not super vegan-friendly, but you can piece together a meal in a clutch. Overall, I found the food to be okay. I am unfamiliar with the dishes I tried, so I can’t give a true answer. The interior was filled with beautiful artwork, but customer service had room for improvement.
