Things to Do Near the Titanic Monument in DC

Visit the 1st Fish Market in the USA

The Municipal Fish Market at The Wharf, established in 1805, is the oldest continuously operating open-air fish market in the United States.

Buy Some New Books

Politics and Prose is a popular bookstore with locations throughout Washington DC, including one at the wharf.

Although they specialize in books with political leanings, they carry titles from all genres. I love their commitment to diversity.

They also plan many interesting events, including author book signing and book clubs. If you can’t make it the bookstore, consider supporting local the on bookshop.org

Explore New Restaurants

It’s impossible to be hungry when visiting the Wharf. My favorite location on the Wharf is Del Mar. The food is perfection!

Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips DC shop is one of the only four locations in the United States. Falafel Inc. is a quick and affordable choice. I recommend their plant-based gyro bowl and their baklava.
